The crew of the flight seen in this photo include Capt. Shafiq, Flight Engineer Jalil and Flight Navigator Aurangzeb

Operations Manager Qaiser Ansari at Tokyo-Haneda Airport, Japan, in mid-1970s where he used to fly twice a week to handle flights at Shanghai and return via Tokyo to Beijing. Mr. Ansari served PIA for forty years from March 1964 to March 2004 and retired as Operations Control Manager, Flight Operations Department. The PIA aircraft in this photo is Boeing 707-373C (registration AP-AWU)

Arrival of PIA Boeing 707-340C (registration AP-AWY) photographed at Beijing Airport in 1973. PIA's legendary Aircraft Engineer Qamar-ul-Islam is third from left and airline's Operations Manager Qaiser Ansari is first from left. As seen in the photo, AP-AWY flew this flight in 'Combi' configuration. Cabin wall separating passenger cabin from main deck cargo compartment is clearly visible

Operations Manager Qaiser Ansari photographed at Beijing Airport, China, after arriving aboard a PIA Boeing 707-340C (registration AP-AWZ) flight from Pakistan in 1973. As seen in the photo, AP-AWZ flew this flight in 'Combi' configuration. Cabin wall separating passenger cabin from main deck cargo compartment is clearly visible. Six years later, on November 26, 1979, AP-AWZ operating Hajj flight PK-740 from Jeddah to Karachi, crashed near the Saudi city of Taif killing all 156 people aboard the aircraft
