Canteen at Faisalabad Airport Fined for Selling Expired and Unhealthy Meals

According to DAWN News channel, Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has fined a canteen at Faisalabad International Airport for selling expired and unhealthy drinks and food items.

The news report did not clarify whether this canteen was serving passengers/airport visitors or airport employees.

On June 25, Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Welfare Canteen at Faisalabad International Airport for selling expired food items and unhygienic conditions of the canteen. The canteen operator was also unable to produce medical certificates of employees.
