Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) invites "sealed bids" from interested parties for the dry lease of wide-body aircraft as below:
Number of Aircraft: Up to three (3) Seating Configuration: 300 plus seats (2-class) Lease Period: 6 years Preferred Delivery Schedule: Till December 2015* Age of Aircraft: Not more than 12 years at the time of induction with minimum of 35% remaining operational life
*in case, required aircraft are not offered till December 2015, PIA may consider aircraft offered for delivery till September 2016.
Could an airline, after getting aircrafts on dry lease, buy that aircraft from the lessor? For example, PIA got A320s on dry lease, after 8 years, can PIA buy those aircrafts from Ireland leasing company?
^ Yes, if the two sides agree, lessee can buy the aircraft from lessor at the end or even before the end of lease term.
In the past, PIA has bought dry leased aircraft including:
Two Boeing 747-200Bs from TAP Portugal.
One Airbus A300 from Air France.
Five Boeing 747-300s from Cathay Pacific.
Six Airbus A310-300s from Airbus Asset Management.
Can three brand new Boeing 777s be offered on dry lease by The Boeing Company to PIA with financial support of Export-Import Bank of the United States?
Maybe delivery slots of five brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft can be utilised for acquisition of three brand new Boeing 777s on dry lease?
The five brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft were due for delivery to PIA in 2015.

Technically, yes.
Many airlines 'sell' thier ordered planes to lessors and then lease the same back.

But they haven't opened the tender, so looks like they have made up mind about getting b777. Per tender requirement, A330-300 fits as it offers 335 seats in 2 class, well above 300 required.
