When a plane been crashed and declaired as "Damage beyond repair", where the authorities put that wreckage. I read somewhere about remainings of Pan Am Flight 103 (Lockerbie Bombing Victim) still stored in Scotland in a rental scrapyad.
Can athorities allow to see it by public ?

I do not know about all the aircraft but the Pan Am 747 is with the UK Aviation Safety Board where they train their investigators using its remains.
