10 April 2011 Last updated at 09:40 Help Work has begun to assemble the fuselage of a US spy plane at a UK contemporary arts centre.
It is part of an exhibit by one of China's leading artists and is being shown in Europe for the first time.
Huang Yong Ping's Bat Project (2004-05) will be on show at Nottingham Contemporary from 15 April to 26 July.
The artwork refers to an international incident in 2001 in which a Chinese fighter jet collided with a US surveillance plane. It has been banned in China but has been exhibited in America.
