Maybe it's about time the authorities should ban Qantas' jumbos from entering the EU/USA airspace (the way they did with the PIA). This is the third time in a year and second time in less than a week that a Qantas jumbo made an emergency landing due to the engine failure. Surely, these failures are not because the way these engines were built but the way these are being maintained.
But I suppose, unlike Pakistan, Australia has very powerful and strong diplomatic relations with the West and none of the countries in the West would want to upset their Australian counterpart. So the West would probably compromise with the security & safety over solid relationships with Australia - What a shame.

The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion, SubhanAllah
