An interesting in-depth article about Emirates operations

Post by irfanjaffry »

The article gives a good idea if you wonder why the business class lounge is too full at certain times of the day while is pretty empty otherwise. Why there is no place to lay down a foot at Dubai duty free shops for your morning flight but one could only see handful of passengers late night? This is a very detailed analysis but worth a read.

Not to be dismissive, but I always thought the reason the First and Business lounges were packed at certain times and "relatively" empty at other times was rather obvious. That is how hub to spoke carriers work - fly in a butt load of punters from all over the place, then try to get them out two to four hours later.
