Only complexed minds promote such unecessary things, surprisingly in Zia era PIA livery went unaltered considering his uber nationalist and religious mindset one would imagine giant flags here there and every where or islamic verses or urdu Pakistan International title, but nothing of heh sort happened, flags remained tiny placed near exits barely noticable from a distance, not even an urdu Pakistan was added to please petty thinkers, no duas printed a la shaheen Air near cockpit window.

In November 2013 also PIA introduced fourth flight for Toronto.



Presently PIA is operating:

PK-781 from Karachi to Toronto via Islamabad every Friday.
PK-783 from Karachi to Toronto every Sunday.
PK-789 from Lahore to Toronto every Tuesday.

My God. 4 direct flights are enough. We don't have such a large demand to increase London. They're stretching their luck. And the same with Toronto. 1 direct flight and 3 in total are enough. However it's not as bad as the UK which PIA is basing everything on. Beijing needs to upped though. Hopefully with a 777.

^^ I dont think they are stretching their luck, both LHR and YYZ have really good loads and could do with an increase in frequency, instead of focusing on new routes PIA need to squeeze as much out of their profitable routes. I do agree that Beijing definitely needs to be updated with a 777.

A total of 9? flights a week from UK-Pak and almost 3-4 direct flights to each city from London, with a terribly substandard product and a terrible brand image I don't think a 5th or 4th flight will do well. There are not enough Pakistanis in Britain for 5 PIA flights plus 3 Emirates flights plus 2 Etihad and Qatar and Saudia and Gulf flights from Pak. Unless we are the sole airline which Pakistanis from the UK use, we won't make it. EK and QR also take a hefty load of pax everyday with their 6 flights to LHR. Birmingham needs to be upped.

The issue isn't the number is Pakistanis in the UK, there are more than enough Pakistanis in the UK to justify having a daily flight to the UK, however, the difference is that with a better product and more aircraft PIA will be able to attract pax back from EK, QR or EY. Why would you go for a stopover in the middle east when you could travel direct to your destination with an improved service. I do agree Birmingham needs to be increased.

Ah ha! But first improve the service na. If you have a daily flight to London with terrible seats and service, I probably would fly the ME3. Though in reality I sacrifice the comfort of the ME3 for a direct flight, and I am sure economy is worse, then I don't understand why people would fly PIA.

That's what im saying. If the service is good and the cabin is half decent PIA would have no problem increasing frequency slowly. I hope they get the Kenyan 773's

PIA need to upgrade it's business class or if they are short of cash then atleast refurbish it with new seat covers and carpet.Economy also needs to be refurbished on urgent basis and IFE should should be fixed on all 777s ASAP..presently IFE is not working on almost 80 percent of the seats..in flight meals service should be improved and pillows and blankets should be provided to every passengers.These days flight punctuality have definitely improved. PIA should pay special attention to passenger satisfaction and once it's achieved then only PIA can get back the load which they have lost.PIA should increase flight to Newyork and I believe if they get clearence for the direct flights from Pakistan then they will pick up load for sure and then can go almost daily

1. Business Class in the process of being upgraded.

2. IFE being upgraded very soon. iPads being handed out instead.

3. Are blankets not given to everyone??

4. Clearance is neccesary to increase PAK-JFK. KHI/ISB - JFK is a must! Even if it is stopover. Please PIA, start ISB-JFK (or ISB-MAN-JFK)
