CAA To Renovate & Expand Turbat Airport

According to a tender notice that appeared in April 5, 2008, newspaper, Pakistan's CAA has invited tenders for renovation of Turbat Airport terminal building, control tower and residential quarters.

From Turbat Airport, PIA operates ATR 42-500 non-stop flights to Dalbandin, Gwadar, Karachi, Panjgur, Quetta and international non-stop flight to Sharjah.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is going to expand Turbat Airport terminal building for the convenience of passengers.

The project consists of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) structure building of about 7500 square feet additional covered area, complete with internal/external electrification, air-conditioning, fire alarm system, signage and conveyor belt.
