AP-OOI - Government of Pakistan Airbus A310-304

Post by Abbas Ali »

AP-OOI sports wavy Pakistan flag (just like PIA livery) on all-white tail. Fuselage is also all white with diagonal dark green band (exactly like PIA livery). Dark green 'Pakistan' titles in English and Urdu are on forward section of fuselage above cabin window line.

On March 27, 2007, AP-OOI flew as 'Pakistan One' from Islamabad to Riyadh with President Pervez Musharraf onboard.

Here's a photo of the aircraft:

At Riyadh Air Base, he was greeted by Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of Riyadh region, Dr. Mohammad Bin Ayyaf Al-Miqren, Mayor of Riyadh region and the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan and the Pakistani ambassador to the Kingdom.

The aircraft is pretty much in PIA colours (minus the provincial tail) and Pakistan instead of PIA titles.

For some reason, based on the previous description I was expecting a green cheatline going across the fuselage......

I still cannot figure out if this aircraft has half white and half beige colors on its fuselage?

Looks very smart and patriotic unlike the PAN AMM billboard style PIA.

I really liked the call sign as "Pakistan One"

I think its still in middle of getting painted, this more looks like Hybrid livery as it doesn't make complete sense....

As I said in my earlier post, fuselage and tail of the aircraft are white, there's no beige colour on any part of the aircraft. Here's latest photo of AP-OOI taken at Indian Air Force Station Palam in New Delhi on April 2, 2007.

O thank you very much Mr. Abbas, it is always nice to see your pictographic illustrations for getting the confusion solved.

Thanks for being so kind! :P
