Syrian to start Damascus-Lahore and Islamabad services

Just been to see my chums in Syrianair Manchester and I am advised that a new Damascus-Lahore service will be starting this year !

MAN-DAM 747SP
DAM-LHE/ISB A320 and back for around GB127.00 excluding tax !!

good prices, but im sure transit times are long and the freqs to LHE/ISB are probably going to be 1 a week or something like that. I don't advise ppl to travel by this airline it's rubbish.

The connection to/from KHI is quite good... so it shouldn't be too bad to/from LHE/ISB

No they aren't. They have one connection once a week and that a 4 hour transit stop from london. On the way back they have a very long transit time and that is via DMM. Why do you think it is so cheap? Did i forget to mention the KHI-DAM is on the ancient 727? Kuwait gave RB some falling apart 727s as well for free.

you can't compare RB to PK. PK is much, much better. RB's 747SP's were brought new in 1976, so they are quite a bit older than PIA's 74M's.

Ok let me rephrase...

**relatively** good. they only fly to MAN twice a week, so a once a week connection is not bad. Also, the connection is same-day, none of that overnight business :)
