Dawn Airside Inspection Conducted at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP) to Review Bird Hazard Mitigation Measures
On the directions of the Director Airport Services, officers from Headquarters Airport Services conducted a dawn inspection of the Airside area at Lahore's (AIIAP), in the presence of the Dy. Airport Manager / Manager Airside.

The team inspected key operational areas including the runway, taxiways, apron and designated Bird Controller positions. Attendance, deployment and performance of Bird Controllers were reviewed alongside ongoing bird hazard management activities and overall operational readiness.

The officers also visited the 36R approach path and 18L departure corridor, including adjoining unpaved areas, to assess bird activity and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures. Aircraft arrivals and departures were monitored during the visit.

The visiting officers appreciated the efforts of the Airside team and emphasized the importance of maintaining a proactive and vigilant approach to ensure the highest standards of aviation safety.
