Fly Jinnah Wet Leased aircraft

Post by Telli X »

I lately flew Fly Jinnah's 9P678 flight from Khi to ISB, It was on FJ's wet leased aircraft A6-AQQ. I thought to post this as there had been a lot of talk regarding the aircraft being leased but no clarity of Wet Lease. The crew I believe in total was 5 included 4 foreign crew members and 1 local. I spoke briefly to the local cabin crew who told me that there was a requirement of 1 local crew member to provide as a translator, furthermore she mentioned that the foreign crew members were all Arabs however from different parts of the middle east. The in flight service was up to standard which FJ has maintained, the interior had some demarcations of an Air Arabia aircraft with the screen in front of the aircraft showing Air Arabia, the seats I believe that FJ use are same as Air Arabia's hence the interior did not look much different and the inflight entertainment barcode led to FJ's entertainment screen. The head rest covers were also FJ's. The only serious recognition of the Air Arabia aircraft was the registration and the livery.

I am not sure of the Pilots being foreign or local as the cockpit door was closed throughout. The female Air Arabia cabin crew had a more westernized uniform than conventional uniforms on local airlines that go more with Pakistani norms. I also tracked the aircrafts flights and it only operates round trips out of KHI, hence making a point that the foreign crew is posted in KHI only.
