Before any new planes are planned the management will probably try to revive the few 777s that can revived, plus a couple of A320s.

Then plan what cities want to be revived, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Istanbul, New York, Chicago, Beijing, Tokyo, all the routes that do not involve Indian airspace. Sydney might be possible with a slight detour.

Once that is done than maybe look for a suitable fleet, probably a 250 seater 787-9 .

I don't think it'll be viable for PIA to fly to 5-6 different stations in EU like once or twice weekly. The situation might end up being the same as before the ban where PIA was merging two stations in a single flight. Only 2-3 stations like Milan, Paris or Barcelona should be nonstop if they can be filled up at least 3-4 time a week. Other stations like Copenhagen, Oslo, Amsterdam etc... can be codeshared if they aren't viable for nonstop flights.

Before the ban, PIA flew Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Oslo and Copenhagen. Frankfurt, Athens, Amsterdam, Rome etc.. were long shut down.
