Layover was supposed to be an hour at SAW ( Istanbul), however due to stormy winds and rain we were delayed by an hour and then diverted to Curlu ( pr: Churlu) airport ( west of Istanbul) after holding for an hour. 2 attempts to land were made but went for go arounds after a very turbulent and unstable very short finals and both times were a few meters above the runway before the engines roared and we were thrusted back up.
We then headed to Antalya and landed about 50 minutes later. Passengers were bussed to hotels( 2 more hours).
After about 36 hours I flew back to SAW and Karachi.
Flight time was almost 6 hours.
Seats on Pegasus are designed to be low cost ( no recline) . Flight info and route map is available on connecting to WiFi - you can pay for entertainment, meals etc although my ticket included a sandwich- Chicken Caesar or feta cheese and tomato.
Flight was about 90% full and luckily middle seat was free. Disembarkation and immigration was quick and luggage did not take too long to arrive.
