Grounded PIA Airbus A320 aircraft registration AP-BLU took part in emergency exercise at Karachi Airport

On September 27, in compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, a full-scale emergency exercise was successfully held at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) in Karachi.

The drill simulated an aircraft crash near Runway 07R, testing evacuation, firefighting, medical response, and inter-agency coordination.

Over 40 ambulances, firefighting units, and more than 100 volunteer “passengers” participated. JIAP’s Fire & Rescue Services extinguished the simulated fire within the ICAO-mandated three-minute timeframe. The exercise validated emergency preparedness and identified areas for further improvement.

Why not use one of the many retired aircrafts at Karachi? Pretty sure it was a safety drill by the ASF which damaged BGL

Again airworthy BLU used for drill instead of expired AP-BLA or BLT or even BGK

Mindless management
