On July 14, Dalbandin city received heavy rainfall with extremely strong winds that have severely damaged infrastructure of Dalbandin Airport including the terminal building, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, electrical supply System. Due to the extensive damage occurred to the ATC tower And overall communication equipment, the flight operation cannot be carried out in this emergency situation.
The airport will remain closed for all kind of traffic till the rehabilitation of the communication system and ATC tower.
