Display of political banners, stickers, posters etc. will not be allowed at PIA premises, facilities, offices etc.

Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA) also barred from displaying political/promotional material at PIA offices.

Any PIA employee caught involved in placing political banners/posters/stickers at airline's premises/offices will be sacked.

I remember when in 2011 for the first time I went to a PIA ticketing office in Blue area, I was shocked to see all walls full with political posters. Needless to say, it was embarrassing and shocking at same time. The blue area office is really one of the main offices in the country, and it was in such state.

PIA employees attempting to use political influence will face departmental action under Clause 48 of Civil Service Regulation Act.
