The runway of Peshawar Airport was closed because the helicopter crashed or made emergency landing near the runway. Helicopter type or operator not mentioned in news reports.
The runway is now opened for flight operations.
The departure of PIA flight PK-353 from Peshawar to Karachi was delayed due to the incident. PIA Boeing 777-200ER registration AP-BMG departed from Peshawar at 12:59 PM as flight PK-353 to Karachi. The flight's scheduled departure time was 12:00 PM.

Yet another case of irresponsible reporting by our media. There are a number of civil registered helicopters in Pakistan but none of them belongs to a flying club.The helicopter belonged to a flying club, according to news report on following link:
