Thats true Etihad is not doing well.. But i just wonder, route like Abu Dhabi must be profitable and less likely to have it reduced in flight numbers..may be there is something else to it..??

The Forbes article mentions their bad investments in European airlines and also the overall number of reduced passengers that Etihad was able to tap.

It must be reduced because of poor customer service, lack of amenities and arrogant behaviors.
They stopped giving travel kits on long haul flights passengers in eco class and food quality started falling too.
In Dec 2017 JFK-AUH flight was without IFE due to technical fault although it was A380 but they gave 5k miles to each passenger in compensation. However it was my last flight with EY and switched to QR.
EY still has a biggest tool for US traffic attraction i.e. pre-immigration but they couldnt catch that well and gradually closing US routes including IAH, SFO and DFW already closed.
Many times I noticed that we were being put on JetAirways configured etihad flight and we all know the quality of JA fleet.
