This A320 is currently active and performing AirAsia flights.

AP-BMA - Airbus A320-216 (currently 9M-AFO of AirAsia).

No idea, but she still does daily flights as 9M-AFO for AirAsia. Could it be, that PIA will no longer get msn 2816 and 2989 from AirAsia?

According to a news channel:

The two dry leased A320s were due to join PIA fleet by the end of December 2015 but their delivery is delayed due to shortage of crew trained for A320.

The two A320s are now expected to join PIA fleet by the end of April.

PIA Clarification

Islamabad; February 16, 2016 - Reference media reports alleging that delivery of two A320 planes to PIA has been delayed due to non-availability of trained staff in PIA, Spokesman PIA has clarified that the planes planned to be leased were inspected by PIA's technical team in December. This team pointed out some technical issue in the planes, which the leasing company promised to fix before delivery, causing delay, he added.

According to PTV News, a parliamentary committee was informed today that three Airbus A320 aircraft will soon join PIA fleet.
