Haha already they don't have crew to fly 9 A320s .... usually 1 or 2 of them are grounded due crew restraints!

So PIA must expedite the transition for Senior ATR crew to A320 and let the already hired cadet pilots sitting at home, to get training for ATR type rating to cover the gap.

According to statement of Chairman PIA on a local news channel:

Two dry leased A320s expected to join PIA fleet in September.
Two dry leased A320s expected to join PIA fleet in October.

Sixty-five captains to be trained for thirteen Airbus A320 aircraft in PIA fleet. It means five captains per A320.
