The ATR72's should be left as they are. They were painted in Europe and a very high quality paint job done on them which I'm sure PIA paid for so they should be left alone.

Remaining A320s should not be painted in retro livery because that was just for remembrance of 60 years of operation. Logically, no reason to paint series of the aircraft into retro livery. AP-BLA was enough to represent that.
Such mistakes in retro livery showing lack of interest & passion by the personnel assigned this job. It will be irritating if 1980s livery will appear with same type of mistakes.

^ Yes, ONLY AP-BLA should have been operated in retro livery and mistakes in AP-BLA retro livery should have been removed.
Don't understand why they are painting more aircraft in 1960s or other old liveries. A number of aircraft painted in retro livery will make people fail to understand which is the current livery of the airline.
Usually when airlines celebrate their anniversary they paint only one aircraft in a retro livery.
An aircraft in PIA green & gold livery can be painted in year 2030 when the airline celebrates its 75th anniversary.

I don't think that they would make any mistake with the 1980s livery as PIA's retro livery is very difficult and it has a lot complicated detailing. Compared to this 1980's livery is easy.It will look nice to see many retros. No problem in that. I have a surprise news regarding the B747 but I'm trying to confirm it 100%

Unable to understand the logic of this branding team how they are continuously changing/altering PIA official logo & livery, after a few years. This should not be. The main thing that should be concentrated, is Main Airline Operation with improved services and better customer care. Customer doesn't care about your logo, and liveries but quality of your services and customer care. Look around and find out the airlines flying with old logos and liveries but they are well conscious about their quality of services and customer care, so that they are leading the airline industry.
Hope for the best for I know they will again appear with wrong fonts & measurements as no one interested to precisely measure the old liveries. PIA 1980s livery is my favorite one and I would not like see that with full of mistakes.

Hilarious the font on BLU is again wrong and not even in italics on fuselage, dont care anymore they can do whatever the like and make a mockery of themselves in the eyes of the world.
The idea of painting one aircraft each in all liveries predating 2004 sounds good though, 80s, 90s, 70s, 60s and 50s no need for Pashmina or anything from 2004 onwards, the only one that I would allow is a province tail on two aircraft with each side of tail showing a different province design.

For province tails and/or Kashi-Kari/Pashmina tails they'll need to get stickers printed.

That ad was so tastefully done, compare it to the new livery ad of 2004, do you have it? two full page versions came out because they were undecided what to do both had flag, simply changing tail colour to green was not even considered despite repeated suggestions to do so.
However tail design in above ad has flaw, its been applied the wrong way at the bottom close to leading edge, must be on BAK which wore this with green belly for a while.

First tell them to get the right font templates, BLU still is not wearing the correct font used on tail and fuselage, tail logo has too much spacing between letters.
