This and other dry leased planes will be most probably deployed on short haul flights so IFE are not necessary as their maintenance is costly.PIA just need adequate no of functional planes to cater local and regional needs.

perhaps i am speculating a bit too much but perhaps it also has drop down screens like the ones in those travel service 320s which were leased by PIA.

notice the missing bulkhead dividers , which are usually present in between the first row and the jumpseat in the FWD section....seems empty and LCCish! the grey seats do go with the PIA cabins.
IFE not necessarily limited to personal TVS.. IFE can consist of Drop down LCD screens and In-seat audio ports and Boarding Music. I doubt PIA has activated any of the options though.

According to news sources, PIA is planning to install Business Class seats in this A320 (AP-BLC). Business Class seats have been ordered and the aircraft may get equipped with them in next three to four days.

There's also possibility of aircraft operating its first revenue flight after installation of Business Class seats.

Probably those Business Class seats will have IFE.

According to Express News channel, there's possibility of paper work / clearance from relevant authorities taking three to four days after which the A320 will operate its first revenue flight.

According to earlier reports, the A320 is expected to operate its first scheduled passenger flight for PIA on 1st of July. Probably it will be flown from Islamabad to Karachi to get Business Class seats installed at PIA Engineering facility in Karachi.

thank you Abbas for the update; looking at the flight trajectory noted that the speed dropped to 61 Kts at 3150 feet, can someone expert elaborate about this speed drop possibility during descend? Is it a STALL condition? Also, note immediately there was speed gain to 180 kts, the very next moment...

It will be more like the other way round as ED and SAI have been operating the A320 series well before PIA. It would make sense if they formed a sort of maintenance alliance as all 3 airlines are now flying the same type.

What happened to those business class seats that PIA used to have on the 737's? They were standard 45 degree business class seats. Can they not be installed on these A320's? I'm sure those seats must still be around and with new upholstery and servicing those seats can be reused.

 I dont want to play an excitement spoiler . A dry leased . pre owned , a type in service with Shaheen and with Airblue for more than a decade . From Prime Minister to Shujat Azeem and whole PIA is so excited as if PIA got Boeing 787.
It might surprise you to know that the words Boeing 787 have been echoing through the halls of the head office not too long ago.

Since the question is directed to an expert , hope an expert will give some detailed feedback , my childish and short answer is weather seems fine at that time even a temporary winds gusting to 35 kts on take off or landing do not do those tricks.

Second thing is all these free aviation and flight planning or tracking internet free softwares and websites so far are not approved by any nations aviation authority ( normally they are accurate ) there accuracy cannot be trusted.

Its a new cockpit layout and display and newly trained crew it will take sometime to fully understand the airplane performance and behaviour. It could be a stall . As the graph show camel humps, those large variations in altitude and airspeed will continue to happen for some time . When US Air first inducted this air airplane , there first set of pilots went for 14 months of training for new environment familiarization .
Airplane is flown with brain not with stick and rudder.

thank you Squawk_1200; i got feedback from some friends too; most probably the speed variation effect was due to weather condition at that time, another friend suggested if it could be a STALL situation then there would have been drop in altitude too which was not the case and Lima Charlie continued the descent in same manner as it was planned by the crew and i have no doubt in efficiency of PIA pilots as Pakistani pilots are one of the best in the world.

beside this, yes there are possible chances for error in data transmission through such radar services offered by private websites.
