Delivery of Dry Leased Airbus A320s to PIA to Begin in June

Agreement signed on June 13 in Dubai, UAE, between Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) for dry lease of three Airbus A320 aircraft.

Delivery of these three A320s to PIA will begin in July.

By looking at those photos it looks like they are trying to hide the tail (maybe new design HOPEFULLY PIA tail ) so I think they decided to put the star and moon on the engine

The crescent and the star look UGLY.

This 2004 livery has gone through hell.

First the original one by Boeing

Then the flag by some PIA employee.

Then the provincial tails.

Then the new flag tail with the yellow stripe and Pakistan International.

Now the Crescent and star in reverse colors. SICK.

Those pics are hiding something and most probably its some experimental livery they have applied to the tail which has fallen flat and will be changed before the a/c arrives in Pak. It seems the twin green/gold stripes on the fuselage are as usual horribly out of alignment just like they are on the 747's and 777's and that ghastly crescent/star on the engines needs to seriously go. Who is coming up with these designs?? If you cannot afford the services of a professional design firm at least consult and get feedback from those with some experience in the field of art and design. I'm sure there are many who will provide their valueable advice and feedback free of charge (you can even think of it as a patriotic duty) or people can be asked to submit prospective designs for consideration but it looks like the ideas and end results we are seeing are quite obviously the work of someone who lacks any idea of style, taste and aesthetic sense and who has no business in deciding and dictating what livery the airline should have. I would really like to know what experience these individuals have in the field of art and design of aircraft. Just because 'they' like it and think its good, that does not mean it IS good. Its obvious they badly need help and I hope someone will be kind enough to aid the aesthetically handicapped.
