Delivery of eleven dry leased Airbus A320 aircraft to PIA will begin in the month of June, according to briefing given to Prime Minister today.
These eleven A320s are believed to be:
Three A320s powered with CFM56 engines offered by GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS).

2 of those 3 A320s offered by GECAS; ex- B-6015 (c/n 2212) & ex- B-6016 (c/n 2155) are being prepared for delivery to PIA. Also PIA Cockpit Crew is undergoing simulator training for A320 in Italy. So hopefully this time around things will materialise for PIA, In Sha Allah.

Both....Check D is being performed on both these a/c. And yes cabin retrofit is being done as well. China Eastern Airlines operated these a/c in a two configuration class of 8J & 150Y seats. Whereas PIA is going for a one class all Y (Economy) configuration of 180 seats.

New tender for 10 narrow bodies expected next week.

Most likely these two are ex-China Eastern Airlines Airbus A320s expected to be delivered by GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) in June or July. GECAS also has a headquarter in Ireland.
And, PIA's deal with Qatar Aviation Lease Company (QALC) for dry lease of eight A320s is now doubtful, according to DAWN newspaper report.
