Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) notice published in today's (September 14) newspaper informing general public that the aviation regulatory authority has not issued any licence with the name MMA Airlines.

MMA airlines and MMA group are a total fraud. This I say, not because I know them, it's just very apparent once you visit their website.

For example they claim to be one of the "world's leading online forex broker". This is a complete lie. They say they are backed by a major financial institution, without naming it. Anyone can say that, as long as you don;t say who it is, therefore no one can check.

Further more they claim that they do volumes of $20 billion a month, and no one in any financial institution has even heard of them(because they don't exist anywhere but on their own website).

The best part is MMA Bank GT does not even have a working phone line. The US "Head Office" number listed, no one attends it. This is an institution that does $20 billion a month in business. The only address listed on their website is an address of Kampala, Uganda. There is no phone number next to this address (another red flag).

The Chairman Malik Noureed Awan, has done a good job in conning people into thinking he is setting up an airline, when in fact everything he has written about his companies is false and does not exist.

It's very easy to pay a small amount and get an article published in the papers. However all you need to do is to do some due diligence and it will be all apparent.

According to news report on following link, MMA Airlines as a UAE-based carrier obtained Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) on March 14, 2012, from General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of UAE (www.gcaa.gov.ae).

Link: http://www.etravelblackboard.us/article ... ine-in-may

But obviously an AOC issued by GCAA cannot be used for operating domestic flights in Pakistan. MMA Airlines in its advertisement was promoting operation of domestic flights in Pakistan.

Btw, MMA Group/Airlines was one of main sponsors of Twenty20 cricket tournament played between teams of Pakistan and Australia in UAE this month. During that tournament, MMA Group/Airlines advertisements/logos were seen in stadium and also at prize distribution ceremonies.

Interestingly there are two web addresses:

MMA Airline - mmaairline.com

MMA Airlines - mmaairlines.com

In the link above, the Chief Executive of MMA Airlines also stated that they have aquired two Airbus 320 aircraft already.
The article is dated March 28,2012. What I don't understand is why would you not operate aircraft that you claim to
have in your possession for the last six months?

Further more where are the pictures of the two Airbuses? Why use images copied from the airbus website instead of posting the pictures of your own aircraft?

Well said Fatah. It seems to me just another kuku airline which would file its bankruptcy before it would even take-off. Looks like another UKIA (United Kuku International Airline) type in the making.
I won't believe a word until I see them actually flying to their promised destinations..

The claim of handling $20bln a month is without a doubt a false calculation. I think they were meant to say $20mln a year. Even some of the biggests banks in the west don't handle with that many billions in a month. Plus, if its a billions of Dollars worth company then why does it not float on the stock exchange of its country of origin?

Lots of questions and every question goes against them. Goodluck to MMA Airlines and I hope our doubts turn out to be just doubts and nothing else.
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,

His website states that MMA Bank is a fully licensed and regulated European Investment firm.

Come on Mr. Malik Noureed Awan, why are you trying to scam people? Your firm does not even have a European address nor does it have any license from any European Authority to operate as any type of a financial institution.

Why lie? Why deceive people?

In MMA airlines website,"Our Fleet" page has interior layout pictures. The second pic has been taken directly from wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narrowbody_aircraft
That picture is the interior of a Virgin America Airbus 320.

I would love to be supportive of any Pakistani who starts an airline or anything which would help our beloved nation. What I can't stand is people trying to portray a false image in what seems like a scam to get people to invest with them.

Well, CAA Pak has to interfere in all such airline advertisements made public in Pakistani printed / non-printed media. There should be some legislation i.e. priority approval from governing body for the advertisements. CAA Pak should approve/disapprove the advertisements before allowing publishing on case by case basis.

Another advertisement that appeared in February 1, 2013, newspaper. It also claims start of MMA Airline operations from March 23, 2013.

This time they have modified photo of a United Airlines Boeing 777 to make it appear as an aircraft of MMA Airline :silly:

Route network shows international flights from Ras al-Khaimah to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Domestic flights network includes cities of Karachi, Sukkur, Multan, Islamabad and Lahore.
