i dont know much but how does the positioning system and communication systems differ in b 737-200 and newer generation. what about the ils system in isb.how helpful is it? any improvemnts since the airblue crash?

its own by AMC Egyptian company sir its same junk was crash landed at karachi main runway and air port was closed for hours few months back.

it cannot be blamed on age of aircraft alone at this moment.however i guess the risks of a crash is higher with older airframes. dont expect thegovt or caa to wake up,
ive seen the amc jet but i was mentioning the red and white trijet(b727) next to the bhoja

Aviation experts are considering microbust/windshear as possible cause of this accident.

Islamabad Airport's Runway 30 is equipped with Instrument Landing System (ILS).

A PIA aircraft will transport relatives of Bhoja Air crash victims from Karachi to Islamabad at 7:00AM on April 21. It will be Boeing 747-300 flight PK-300.

Blackbox (Cockpit Voice Recorder - CVR and/or Flight Data Recorder - FDR) not recovered from crash site so far, according to latest reports.

Very sad to learn about this crash. May the victims rest in peace.

Eye witness accounts of fire as the plane came down need to be verified to get an accurate account. I am sure the emotions are high and people imagine or confuse things.

From the map in the previous post, it seems the aircraft was not aligned to the runway despite being quite close to it, and proably ws out of control and drifted ofcourse while coming down.
