^ PIA B742 with white tail? Is it a leased B747 to PIA? what exactly the word "express" means, painted on the rear fuselage?

It was PIA Express Boeing 747-281B (registration AP-BIC) on lease from Air Universal.

PIA Express was short-lived low cost flight service launched on December 25, 2006, with this leased Boeing 747.

Flights were operated on Karachi-Lahore-Islamabad and Islamabad-Lahore-Karachi route without meals service. Only drinks were served on PIA Express flights.

Here's PIA Express service advertisement that appeared in December 23, 2006 newspaper.

And following photo of AP-BIC in PIA Express markings appeared in online edition of Urdu daily 'Express'.

Another photo of AP-BIC taken at Lahore Airport in January 2007. 'Destination Pakistan 2007' markings partially visible below cabin windows in this photo.
