Its just as well he requested anonymity because he'll be labelled a quack. Please don't post this on any other international forum because we'll become a laughing stock.mhansari wrote:A bigwig of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) told media on condition of anonymity that the Airblue plane crashed on Wednesday because of ‘pressure’ fault in the plane. The pressure disc or plate of plane was not working perfectly.
Geo has posted a news item on their website, saying that a CAA official says that the plane crash was due to a pressure fault. Now, I'm not up to speed on the technical aspects, but everything theyve said about Flight Data Recorders and Cockpit Voice Recorders is complete nonsense. Or am I losing it?
Heres the news:
The CAA often warns technical staff of airlines to change pressure discs to boom pressure but technical staff takes this matter non-seriously, he said. He said that weather was not the reason of plane crash because other flights were taking off and landing perfectly. Concerned pilot could not handle the plane with dead pressure and it fell down, he said.
The second reason is that pilot was not used to the route from Karachi to Islamabad. He went from Karachi to Turkey and was handling this route from Karachi to Islamabad perhaps for the first time. There are two ‘black boxes’ of planes.
One black box is for Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and second black box handles the main control room. First black box tells concerned CAA main faults in planes and other technical problems before taking off while the second black box is in continuous contact with control room for getting green signals. Second black box related with Control Room continuously gives green signals by the plane for landing but concerned pilot was circling rather than landing, he said.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Deputy Director (General) Air Vice Marshal Riaz-ul-Haq has given statement on Geo TV that they could not find out the exact reason of plane crash. We have formed a 6-member investigation committee to probe the matter. A plane could crash due to several reasons but we would find out exact reason of crash after final report of investigation committee, he said.

Why the media reports so much crap, is unbelievable - conflicting reports, mis-information again. Its too early to determine the cause of the crash, so why do alleged "senior figures" come out with such rubbish only a day after the incident ?

Because they're 'aviation experts'. Show them an A321 they'll call it a Boeing.

What ? Care to elaborate ? Im no aircraft engineer but if you are gonna lay your neck on the line, in animosity, come out with something half believable or something a bit less vague. God help some people!

Re: AirBlue jet down in Islamabad
Some thing was wrong. n u know wat was it....the plane was hijacked i think. the high jackers didnt showed up till the aircraft reached islamabad coz if they had there was a chance that there mission could have been spoiled or forced to land. Now when they reached isb they forced the plane to fly to prohibted area containing parliment house and president house and PM secreteriate where cabinet meeting was sceduled at that time. Pilot knew it was the end and they will die so instead hitting those buildings he prefered hiting the mountains. This type of crash is impossible other wise.every thing was going smooth. Think on this. This is why they are hidding the black box.

Re: AirBlue jet down in Islamabad
Capt.Pervaiz Iqbal Chaudhry born 27 December 1948. He got LPF = Leave Prioty Retirement in Late 2007 then he telephoned told my father that he move to Canada or UK to stay with his son's home in Canada or UK then yesterday I am surprised shocked he is Captain Airblue A321. I have asked his real cousin Capt. NAYYAR IQBAL PIA 777's brother DEAF Mr. Qamar Malik Iqbal shocked surprised cannot believe his real cousin Capt.Pervaiz Iqbal Ch is Airblue A321. Qamar and wife tried to telephone Capt. Pervaiz's wife no reply no answer also Capt. Pervaiz's son in UK no reply no answer then Capt. Nayyar Iqbal is in Barclenda Spain will fly back to ISB this Saturday will contact Capt. Pervaiz's wife and family.
My friend Capt.Tauqir and Capt. Asif tried to apply Airblue Captain UNSUCCESSFUL not accepted but how how how did Capt. Pervaiz Iqbal Ch got successful Captain Airblue MD CEO Chairman Khalid Abbasi allowed his age 59 or 60 old to fly A320. Do you know what month & year did Capt. Pervaiz Iqbal Chaudhry join & start fly AirBlue? I guess Late 2007 or early 2008?
Capt.Pervaiz Iqbal Ch flew ti ISB many times and he know how to land and take off and abort in ISB but perhaps maybe he and first officer know wrong mistake before crash or perhaps maybe they forgot U Turn avoid crash BUT I do not know why why why Airbus cockpit self machine protection automatic PULLUP avoid crash hit hill or ground but 777 and A380 have automatic AVOID hit crash.
World A321 is FIRST TIME accident crash by Airblue but I know lots of A320 crashed many times.

Re: AirBlue jet down in Islamabad
What a load full of crock! Starting from pressure disc (whatever the heck that is) to a complete James Bond theory of hitting a mountain to save whom, the most inept corrupt and despicable bunch of thugs sitting in their so called parliament house legislating with their fake degrees. Pleeeeeeeeeease give us a break.
CAA statement " The Pilot was not use to this route" so he decided to fly into a mountain what rubbish..........by the same logic anytime a NEW route is introduced should be followed by a fatal crash after which the others should be able to find their way to the runway.
Who are these imbeciles, coming up with these theories, pardon me..............the commander had 37 YEARS of flying experience much more then the age of many posting on this forum. That is a life time in the air, he was an ex-747 commander with PIA with a world wide flying experience and had previously flown for almost 4 decades into Islamabad. If he had a new co-pilot big deal, one has to start from from some where nobody is born with experience.
Once the investigation unfolds and if ever revealed in it's true original form without the usual conspiracy theories and conjectures of RAW/CIA /Mossad involvement etc. only then will it determine what was the real cause, which can stem from pure simple Pilot error due loss of situational awareness resulting in CFIT, and or a technical anomaly, right now it's anybody's guess but definitely not what is being propagated at this stage through our media wizards namely Mr. Kamran Khan referring to an A321 as a " WIDE BODY".

now the posts are diverting from the topic and serious ill minded media's outcomes are being copied here , good for nothing.
guys i think we should refrain from jumping to ill-logical conclusions based on nonsense media reports.
soon a quarrel will start and will ignite some fight.

They are saying he initiated a Go-around..and then attempted landing on 12..during a go around, you're gaining altitude with max-power, while he was doing that its possible that his radius of turning became longer than usual, which would not have been the case had his speed been lower. This could explain him straying to 9nm, as opposed to the required 5nm. Just my opinion though.
