Sale of B747-200 Simulator

Sealed quotations are invited from interested parties for the purchase of B747-200 Full Flight Simulator on “as is - where is - basis”.

Following are the Technical Specifications of B747-200 Full Flight Simulator:

Basic Engine & options: Pratt & Whitney JT9D Model 7A
Manufacturer: Singer Link USA
Computer: PDP 11/50 –55
Motion Control loading: 6DOF Hydrostatic Analogue
Visual: SP1
Display configuration: 4windows, 3 Channels, Dusk, Night
Date in service with PIA: 1994
Instructor operating station: Single Monitor
Certification: Level - C CAA Pakistan
Other Features: A/P FD Sperry Duel

The above mentioned Simulator can be inspected on any working day prior to 15/02/2007 from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs at PIA Training Center - Flight Training Unit, Karachi Airport.

The bidder will be required to deposit a sum of 2% of the value of bid (refundable) in favor of Pakistan International Airlines along with the bid.

The sealed bid must be either submitted at the reception counter of Procurement & Logistics Building, Karachi Airport, Karachi before 1100 Hrs on 15/02/2007 or couriered to the office of General Manager Procurement & Logistics ensuring to reach his office before 1100 Hrs on
15/02/2007.

Tenders will be opened in the Tender Room of PIA Procurement & Logistics Building Karachi Airport on same day at 1130 Hrs. in the presence of any / all tenders/representatives.

Mr. Abbas can better tell who is viewing the site as he probably reviews the site stats from time to time. However, I will tell you that most online forums with muslim participation are monitored.
