AMG first flew on 12 dec 1961 and was delivered brand new as PIA's first B720. Those were some of PIA's best days. Jackie loved flying on PIA and made friends with many PIA crew, including Capt M. M. Salehjee, who would be elected president PALPA in 1968.
Recently in 'DAWN 50 Years Ago' section of DAWN newspaper, there were a number of old news articles about Jacqueline's visit to Pakistan in 1962. According to one such article, for flight to Lahore she traveled on Pakistan Air Force Vickers Viscount 734 (serial# J-751).

Later, shoes with lower and wider heels were introduced for air hostesses because stiletto heels were considered unsafe/uncomfortable when faster movements were needed in aircraft cabin during an emergency situation.
The stiletto heels were the fashion in the early 60's. The wider, flatter (and uglier) shoes came in the late 60's and 70's onwards and were found to be more practical, but those hats, gloves and stilettos were timeless elegance.
