saw PIA Boeing 777-240ER (AP-BHX) making first visit to
Manchester after July 2, 2008 Milan incident in which the
aircraft was damaged due to hailstones. Note nose cone and all
leading edges of both wings replaced after extensive repair work
that was carried out in Milan.
On
July 2, 2008, AP-BHX was operating flight PK-770 from Paris to
Lahore via Milan. On flight's Paris-Milan sector, while
descending for landing at Milan, the aircraft was damaged due to
