The Canadian DC-10s that went to Biman were not ex-PIA machines.kamalla wrote:I think that 1 and maybe 2 ex-PIA DC-10s that were swapped with CP Air were sold to Biman by Canadian Airlines (CP's successor) in the late 90s.
Here's what happened to five DC-10-30s operated by PIA.
AP-AXC - in service with Cielos del Peru Cargo.
AP-AXD - last seen in state of dereliction in Mohave, USA. Continental Airlines was the last known operator of this aircraft.
AP-AXE - destroyed in hangar fire at Karachi Airport in 1981.
AP-AYM - last seen in state of dereliction in Miami in 2007. Last known operator was Centurion Air Cargo in 2006.
AP-BBL - scrapped in 2004 at Marana - Pinal Airpark, USA. Canadian Airlines was the last operator of this aircraft.

I remember that Canadian did sell some DC-10s to Biman, but perhaps from a different batch.
