New Delhi, INDIA: An Air India aeroplane lies on the runway after its nose wheel collapsed, at Indira Gandhi International Airport New Delhi, 09 April 2007. Operations on the main runway of New Delhi international airport have resumed, several hours after an Air India jet made an emergency landing, officials said. The runway was blocked when the aircraft -- an Airbus A310 which arrived in New Delhi from Shanghai via Bangkok carrying 169 passengers -- developed landing gear problems before touching down. All the passengers and 14 crew members were evacuated safely, a Press Trust of India news agency report said. Yes, another A310-300 involved nose gear collapse accident also belonged to a South Asian country i.e. Bangladesh.

Well these white horses are showing there age now, i think airlines should move on the other aircraft types then these crappy 310s!!, personally i never liked this aircraft type, just too many problems with it and its systems, i used to avoid servicing these if i could, just can't stand them...
