A Pakistan Army Aviation helicopter on flood relief operations in Lasbela lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC).
Six individuals aboard the helicopter included Commander XII Corps/Quetta Corps Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, supervising flood relief operations in Balochistan. Search operation is underway.

Pakistan Army Aviation AS350 Ecureuil helicopter was expected to arrive at PAF Base Faisal in Karachi at 6:05 PM from Uthal from where it had departed at 5:10 PM.

Wreckage of Pakistan Army Aviation AS350 Ecureuil helicopter found in Musa Goth, Windar, Lasbela, without survivors.
Initial investigation blames bad weather/poor visibility for the crash.
According to news sources, the crash site is about 80 kilometers away from helicopter flight point of origin Uthal. Weather was bad in the area at the time of crash, confirm locals. Wreckage on the side of a hill was noticed by a shepherd who informed area elders about it. The area elders informed authorities about crash location.

Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali and Brigadier Muhammad Khalid funeral prayers performed in Quetta and laid to rest in Army Graveyard, Rawalpindi.

Major Saeed Ahmed laid to rest after funeral prayers performed in Larkana.

Major Talha Manan laid to rest after funeral prayers performed in Rawalpindi.

Naik Mudassar Fayyaz laid to rest after funeral prayers performed in Shakargarh.
