Departure of PIA Flight PK-791 to Birmingham from Islamabad Delayed Due to Technical Problem in the Aircraft

Departure of PIA Islamabad to Birmingham flight PK-791 is delayed due to some technical issue with the aircraft. The flight was scheduled to depart from Islamabad at 11:00 AM.

Passengers have been off-loaded and shifted to airport lounge where they are being looked after by the airline.



Seems the aircraft is PIA Boeing 777-200ER registration AP-BGL. The Boeing 777 had arrived in Islamabad at 7:12 AM as flight PK-702 from Manchester.

According to statement of PIA spokesperson on a news channel, flight PK-791 is expected to depart from Islamabad at 7:00 AM on August 1.
