PAF C-130 Taking Part in RIAT 2018

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) No. 6 "Antelopes" Squadron Lockheed C-130E Hercules serial number 4178 with special markings is taking part in Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2018 from July 13 to 15 at Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford Station in United Kingdom.

The aircraft arrived at RAF Fairford on July 11.

The aircraft tail is sporting special markings celebrating 75th anniversary of PAF No. 6 Air Transport Support (ATS) Squadron and 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force (RAF). Aircraft nose section is sporting No. 6 Squadron colours.

It's Bristol Freighter which was one of the most effective propeller from mid 50s till mid 60s.

The PAF C-130 has achieved second position in a contest at RIAT 2018, according to news sources. Probably second position/1st Runner Up in Concours d'Elegance competition?

The tail and the eagle's face on fuel tank was good. Whatever they did on the front seem little bit over.

I was there yesterday. It could not have been parked any further away in the airfield. I know quite a few Pakistanis who stuggled to find it. Even the information desk at RIAT 2018 were not helpful. A friend of mine was told that Pakistan had cancelled! My friend had a choice of words for that guy (quitely off course) and then went on to find Pakistani stand.
It was a great show though.
