PIA through a circular has informed aircraft cabin crew that the airline's management has formed a special task force to identify any WhatsApp/social media information disseminated by employees that include:
- Defamatory or bullying PIA team members.
- Damaging information related to PIA.
- Leakage of confidential information
The task force will be assisted by cyber security experts in accordance with law. Given the extreme seriousness of the above violation, strict action will be taken including suspension, dismissal from service and legal prosecution if found guilty. A number of people have already been identified in relation to such activities and action against them is in progress.
Kindly refrain from unethical and illegal behavior in this regard as there will be absolute zero tolerance in such matters that are irreparably damaging PIA's reputation.
