On a local news channel, saw this Radio-Controlled Model of a Fokker F27 Friendship painted in 1990s sporty livery of PIA. The aircraft model was seen in action on October 21 during Punjab Youth Festival 2012 held in Lahore.

Re: PIA Fokker F27 RC Model in Lahore
This beautiful model of Fokker F27 in PIA's 90's colors is one of kind and was built by Mr Hassan Rehan who is also scratch builder. I have seen few pictures of it and waiting to see it in person on mt upcoming visit to my home land!....I believe Rehan resides in Lahore. There another model of DHC-6 Twin Otter in PIA's 80's colors, one of the most beautiful livery PIA fleet ever wore!. That T Otter is built by Mr. Kamal Parvez Butt who is B777 pilot for Emirates.

nd, these are some excellent pictures with nice closeups of model.
why the registration not applied or is it applied later as i can see the pictures posted by Abbas are having some blurry text on the vertical tail fin white area?

Registration AP-BAO is applied on this F27 model.
Photos courtesy of Arfan Fida.
The model has two-blade propellers. Will be nice if it's possible to make them four-blade propellers like on actual F27 engines.

There is a good reason why you see 2 blade vs 4 blade propellers on this F27's model, 2 blades are far more efficient then 3 or 4 blade props, they are light and don't load up the motors as 3 or 4 blades would do. Since this model is powered by 2 nitro glow engine motors, it's better to use 2 blades for flying. He can always change them to 4 blades as ecstatic's on the ground for the scale looks. If it was electric powered model, it would be different story as in case on my S Connie model.
