Though I personally don't mind BLU getting the retro look but if they paint the next four 320's in retro livery as well, it will just take away its charm.
Instead they should either paint a jet from each series like one of the members suggested in this livery or paint the four 320's in the other memorable liveries e.g one in the 80's livery, one in the 90's, one in all white with Pashmina tail and perhaps one in the 2004 paint to celebrate all variations PIA has adopted over the course of 60 years.

I agree. Only one A320 i.e. AP-BLA should have been in retro livery to keep it as an attraction and sought after aircraft for spotters/photographers at various airports. Mistakes in AP-BLA retro livery should have been removed instead of painting more aircraft in retro livery.
I hope PIA paints an aircraft in my all-time favourite green & gold livery when the airline celebrates its 75th anniversary in year 2030.
Maybe PIA should not paint AP-BLU in retro instead should paint it in Typical Pathani Karachi bus scheme It would loook very good and give PIA a much needed boost towards avgeek.

Well Abbas the 70s livery is alive and well in the current one.
The green and gold stripe plus the Pakistan International both are from the 1970s color scheme. Slightly different from the original but a cheap imitation.
Pakistan flag direction should have been reversed on starboard side to represent aircraft's movement in forward direction and PIA logo font on tail and "PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL" titles font on fuselage should have been slightly thicker. Anti-dazzle black paint should cover area below front two cockpit windshields. And, what's that grey patch on nose cone?
