^ That's good to know

On following links are good quality colour photos of PIA Boeing 720-040B registration AP-AMG in 1960s livery, hope these are useful for team painting the A320 in retro livery.

Port side.

Starboard side.

There's no need for painting aircraft model type on A320. Only PIA Boeings sported aircraft model type in 1960s livery that way.

Cabin doors should have green outline and PIA logo should be painted near cabin doors on port side of the aircraft.

Shape of stylised aircraft crossing PIA logo painted on an actual PIA Boeing 720B tail in 1960s livery.

Image

Slightly different shape of that stylised aircraft on 1966/67 PIA timetable.

For the information of readers, in 1960s PIA livery the front side of green cheatline represented curved blade of sabre.

Nothing but lack of commitment, and "lack of coordination".

PIA 1960's tail design reproduced and scaled by me using original tail deigns. Base tail used just for an example.

Spent hours to calculate all dimensions of this design including horizontal and vertical spacing between each and every component of this design. Too many fonts was processed but no one matched with actual "PIA" font, so I graphically reproduced and scaled it. Too many photos of PIA
1960's livery tail were processed but not a few were graphically same so I used those which were close enough to each other.

Is it going to be delivered as AP-BKW?

Omitting Pakistan International on the aircraft is a blessing.

First of all its the wrong font, its a part to the 1980s livery along with the gold stripe that was used because someone liked it back then.

The flag on the tail from 2014 the green strip and PIA from 2004, the gold stripe and Pakistan International from 1976-91 livery.

I think the current livery is a mess and they need to reduce the clutter and start by

No.1 removing Pakistan International written in gold.
No. 2 remove the beige from the fusalage and make it all white.
No. 3 remove the gold stripe.

simple is always more sophisticated.

New records and high level of achievements.
It may be due to fact that ground staff got very little time to finish paint job and have to rotate the Aircraft for upcoming commercial flight. I hope issue will be fixed once the Aircraft landed back to engineering base with enough time to finish the job.
Fortune favours brave.
