Congratulations Abbas bhai for your great idea of painting the A320 in 60's livery. Its looking awesome.Fantastic.

I would like to add one more thing here as a suggestion.. what if they make a minor change like paint/write PIA (In urdu) with golden fonts on the engines of A320 and ATRs instead of moon & star. We have it already on the tail. ( About new livery not talking about 60's livery)

forum members comments are welcome on this. Pls share your views.

Thank you Ameerjan.

BTW, PIA Tridents were delivered without stylised aircraft crossing PIA logo on tail.

Getting back to topic...
Airbus A320 upcoming deliveries:

AP-BLS delivery date: 5-6-15
AP-BLU delivery date: 8-6-15
AP-BLT delivery date: 15-6-15

ATR 72 upcoming deliveries:

AP-BKV delivery date: 6-6-15
AP-BKW delivery date: 10-6-15
AP-BKX delivery date: 13-6-15

This will mark the end of deliveries under this tender since deal with Air Asia for 4 A320s (AP-BLX, AP-BLY, AP-BLZ, AP-BMA) didn't get materialized.

That's a bad news. Maybe the airline can cope up through this tender and get 4 narrow body aircraft's through this deal. They can work on this tender and expedite the deliveries of the aircraft's.

Is that a new tender? Because it has closing date of 29th june and the previous ones had 2nd march. I guess the former is cancelled as their is no evaluation report published on PIA website till now.

They have published the same tender with a new closing date in today's newspaper as mentioned in of the recent topics made on HOP today. Don't know the reason that why didn't the airasia thing wasn't materialized. Maybe rightnow they don't have the crew ready to fly those 320's if the number of aircraft's increase from 6 to 10 under this deal.
