Why emergency exits slides not used for passengers evacuation ?

Report on http://www.avherald.com on following link confirms that actually port-side main landing gear of the aircraft collapsed during landing on Runway 25L.

There's also photo that shows port-side wing upper surface ruptured/penetrated by landing gear.

Aircraft registration is also confirmed as AP-BJN.

it seems Shaheen and Bhoja have same maintence company obvioulsy they are not up to standard...wheels shouldnt be collapsing

i just watched a movie recently , a true story of an airline company in Argentina, which brushed aside maintence issues until it finally crashed and government banned them the country since over hauled its laws about aviation lets hope big changes are made now

also the culture of the government isnt much about safety.

.....one can ride on top of a bus freely rickshaws can load more than 3 peopel some 6-7. suzuki is allowed to build cars without any safety features and so on

It seems that Shaheen has had two incidents on the same day. A Shaheen 737 also had a fuel leak problem at Allama Iqbal Airport. Following is the link to the video.

Serious demage indeed. IMO a possible write off because it may not be wise to spend so heavily on a -400 at the twilight of her operational life. The landing gear has ruptured through the wing.

Albeit its an emergency, there was no fire during landing. The evacuation was done in a clam manner.

Btw, last night a news channel showed some of flight's passengers at Karachi Airport praising and appreciating the way Shaheen Air cabin and cockpit crew handled this emergency situation.
