Wonderful trip report. I enjoyed reading it very much. Pictures are great.
Four missed approaches, and re-configurations are time consuming. Since, Islamabad Int'l Airport is being shared with the Chaklala Air Force Base; military flights have priority over civilian aircrafts. Plus, PAF Ground Controllers have the full control on the ground movement. Most definitely, those were the military aircraft movements. This is the reason we could only see the same number of aircrafts on the civilian apron. Military apron could not be viewed easily. Especially, when the weather is cloudy and if it is dark. It happened many times before. But, this is a conincidence that an HOP member was on-board to report it.
