PIA ATR 42-500 - Photos by First Officer Aroosh Naqvi

Post by Abbas Ali »

Here’s a set of photos taken with cell phone camera by First Officer Aroosh Naqvi (forum member AN). Photos show flight deck panels of PIA’s first ATR 42-500 (registration AP-BHH).

All photo captions by First Officer Aroosh Naqvi.

Navigation Display on board AP-BHH, PIA's first ATR 42-500. We are crossing position Molta from Multan to Lahore at a fleeting 350 knots ground speed thanks to a 71 knot tail wind at FL 250. Whilst our indicated airspeed was only about 185 knots, 350 knots groundspeed is a very good speed for a turboprop. Took forever coming back though.

Thank you Aroosh for sharing excellent photos!

No doubt, looks like professional camera, but since you said its cell phone could be iphone or Nokia N95 (5 mp cam) or could be some other even better phone.
