After years and years and years and years of advertising for 777 engines once again the private management is going to try and lease engines for its 20 year old 777 fleet.
I am guessing they might find some now as the carrier is private so decision making will be easier, plus kickbacks and not going to be an issue now, plus large numbers of 777s are being parted out so chances of getting 20 year old engine is going to be bright.
Once PIA is officially privatised, it isn't legally obliged to public these details just like other private airlines. This seems like a last ditch effort for more corruption and kickbacks before the new management takeovers otherwise why would a privatised PIA issue such tenders.
Also, i don't understand who leases aircraft engines. Either you buy it from the manufacturer or a third party.

Believe it or not, over 50% of aircraft fly with engines the airlines have leased...I think just a few airlines spend about 10 years trying to get bidders even though it's almost always a failed bid...
