Saidu Sharif Airport runway will be extended/upgraded to make it capable of handling jetliner flights.
Presently, Saidu Sharif Airport runway is capable of handling turboprop aircraft.

It seems that number of airports will soon exceed the number of airplanes Pakistani carriers have in total. They are upgrading runways and airports but still large amount of population dont have proper access to flights from point A to point B. Less than 50 airplanes of all carriers combined for a country of 22 crore and size equal to that of Turkey.

So this just confirms that the ATRs will be phased out for regional jets.

Most of the travellers can't afford air travel, it's still a luxury in Pakistan.Tuti Fruiti wrote: βSat Dec 02, 2023 4:15 am its strange and wierd..
