Indian media is showing AMRAAM missile debris to prove that F-16 was downed. All it proves is that AMRAAM was fired. Are PAF JF-17s equipped with AMRAAM?

First, regarding which jets were used to shot down IAF plane, its not clear whether it was Mirage, F6 or F16 etc. There are theories, but no one knows as of now.
As far AMRAAM goes, it might have more political implications to pressure Pak that it used F-16 against India which is in 'violation' of use of F-16 as per USA-Pak agreement.

The answer to question being put, a expert military aviation can answer as AMRAAM is brand name of US made missile and its used also as a generic name for 'Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile', whether JF17 uses AMRAAMs of USA or China or if it uses at all...its anybodys guess.

There was also confusion about the number of pilots who ejected in the area. Reports and statements kept changing.

Initially, there were reports about three pilots. One captured by Pakistan and two others being searched.

Later, there was report about all three captured by Pakistan. And then there was report about one captured by Pakistani forces and another injured undergoing medical treatment at CMH.

Finally, only one pilot i.e. Wing Commander Abhinandan was shown.

An eye witness on a Pakistani news channel said he saw three parachutes descending.

America had gone ahead to pressurize Pakistan by requiring them to not to use F-16 for any "Aggression". And i can assume that America definitely have **hidden** way to track flights of F-16.

Amongst so much news with correct and fake and partially correct news..

No doubt 2 aircrafts were down. As far number of pilots goes, it has been witnessed by many villagers of that area as three . One can say as benefit of doubt it is 99% credible. The origin of the 'rumor' of second pilot being arrested must have been arrest of the pilot Abhinandan which might have led to conses amongst people that another is also arrested..
As per whats said on mediia . Some say, they managed to escape by foot from pak side or they landed in Indian side.So in the end Pak end up with one pilot in custody

Maybe this nose section of MiG-21 can be preserved at PAF Museum in Karachi which is also home city of JF-17 pilot Squadron Leader Hasan Siddiqi credited with IAF MiG-21 kill.

Nice Idea Abbas. Indeed it will be great to bring nose section after cutting and with some fixes in Kamra and putting it proudly as an ICON in PAF Museum to inspire many young Pilots willing to join PAF.

Regarding AMRAAM, for what purpose then F16 can be used then? Aren’t they then for defending the territory if not for an aggression purpose they are?

The US ""sold"" and gave a bunch of F-16s and related Tech on the condition that it will be used for anti terror ops etc and not for other purpose like against neighbours .

The pictures showing bullet like holes in fuselage metal core indicates proximity fuse type missile used to target the MiG of IAF. It also looks like that impact site of the missile was around vertical stabilizer (tail) region of aircraft...A damaged rear section of aircraft results in cork screw free fall of aircraft with nose pointing down and falling quickly without covering much distance..it's also means that PAF aircraft was behind IAF aircraft (or in rare case intercepted it at 90 degree to made the hit ?) . Was IAF aircraft heading was towards or away from Pak side that's an open question.. also the analysis, is just a guess by looking at pictures..!!

Hmmmm OK but what India did was also terrorism in one aspect. Can’t think of any other definition of “invasion of sovereign land of Pakistan”
