Construction work of new terminal building of Multan International Air Port (MIAP) will be completed by the end of December this year, according to statement of Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Grant of Licence for Establishment & Operations of Commercial Concession at New Multan International Air Port (MIAP)
(Two Envelope Basis)
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) invites separate tender on two envelope basis i.e. Technical Offer and Financial Offer for the "Establishment & Operations of Commercial Concession at New Multan International Air Port (MIAP)" from registered companies having sound relevant experience, good reputation and financial background. Technical offers will have 80% marks to become technically qualified.
The concessions shall be awarded for a period of five (05) years with 10% cumulative annual enhancement during subsequent years. No offer less than the reserve price shall be entertained. The licence will start from the date of shifting of operations at new terminal building of MIAP. Details are as under:
1. Installation, operation and maintenance of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) - commercial system.
2. Eight eye shape digital advertisement boards.
3. Six boards for concourse (CC) hall.
4. Twenty digital advertisement boards inside airport boundary wall.
5. Operation and maintenance of Commercially Important Person (CIP) lounge in domestic departure.
6. Establishment and running of cafe / canteen on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis.
7. Transparent advertisement on glasses of avio bridges on alternative panels.
8. Two video walls; one in international departure and other in domestic departure each wall with ten screens; each with size of 50 inch needs to be inserted that makes space = 500 inches + gaps of 10 inches between each = 100 inches total space would be 600 inches each wall.

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) intends to outsource the Janitorial Cleaning Services of the passenger terminal buildings and parking area of Multan International Airport.
